Film Ad Playing the blue-lipped corpse of Laura Palmer, washed ashore on television's Twin Peaks, was not easy. ''Hours and hours and hours of lying perfectly still'' is how SHERYL LEE recalls the role. She had far more activity as Laura in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, the film ''prequel'' to the events that set the little logging town talking. ''We're not censored: Laura did walk on the wild side, and it's a lot wilder in the film. And I'm alive; that's a huge advantage right there.'' The David Lynch movie has already opened in France – it hits German screens in August – and since May has become a cult favorite of the Japanese, who cannot get enough of the Peak experience. Popular travel tours from Japan to Snoqualmie in Washington State, where the series was shot, have kept Laura's memory – well, alive
